Rogers Park Garden Walk
The Rogers Park Garden Walk is Sunday June 25 - noon til 5 pm - starting at Leone Beach at Touhy and Sheridan....$10 fee for map of the Gardens. This event is organized by volunteer committee and supported by the Rogers Park Community Council.

City services come to Rogers Park
The Rogers Park Constituent Service Office located at 1409 W. Morse will be hosting the Secretary of State Mobile Drivers Facility on Monday, June 26th from 9:30am to 2:30pm.
Residents will be able to access various Secretary of State services.

DevCorp North holds Annual Meeting
All DevCorp North members are invited to attend DevCorp North’s Annual Meeting which will be held on June 20, 2006 at 6:30pm at the Gateway Restaurant and Lounge (7545 N. Clark Street). At this meeting, we will elect new officers and re-elect board members. We will also give you a review of what DevCorp North has accomplished in the past year and what the organization has identified as current and future priorities. Dinner will be served.

Artist of the Wall Festival
Celebrate Community! Experience Art!
Sat. June 17 and Sun. June 18 from 11am to 6pm
The 13th Annual Artists of the Wall Festival will take place at Loyola Park, by the lake. The theme is, "Nature's Canvas: The Shoreline and Us."
Paint a square of the 500 foot long mural, hear music, browse and buy from vendors, visit the information tables and participate in the Art-Making Tent for Families and Seniors. The Art making area is directed by Sharon Hyson, with demonstrations at 1:00 / Create a Mixed Media Garden, and 2:30 / Studio Arts including Collage and Painting with Sharon.

Purchase your Chicago City Sticker without leaving Rogers Park
The City of Chicago 2006-2007 vehicle sticker sales season began on June 1st. If you have not yet purchased your city sticker, the City Clerk's Office and 49th Ward Alderman Joe Moore are teaming up to provide convenient vehicle sticker sales on two dates at the 49th Ward Service office at 7356 N. Greenview:
Wednesday, June 21st from 12 noon to 7pm
Wednesday, July 5th from 12 noon to 7pm
The annual renewal period is from June 1st to June 30th, with an automatic extension through July 15th. Vehicle stickers purchased after this date will be subject to a $40 late fee. If you are age 65 or older and possess a valid Illinois driver's you are eligible for a senior citizen discount on your sticker. Failure to display a valid Chicago Sticker may result in a $120.00 fine.

Visit the new Evil Squirrel in the neighborhood
Evil Squirrel comics has opened their doors at 1304 W. Estes. They are chock full of comic books, card games and books. Every Wednesday is New Comic Book Day, when the new comic books are released. Every Friday night from 6:30 to 10 pm, Evil Squirrel hosts Friday Night Magic (ask your kids).
Evil Squirrel is open on Tuesdays from 12 to 7, Wednesdays from 1 to 9, Thursdays from 12 to 9, Fridays from 12 to 10, Saturdays from 11 to 10 and Sundays from 11 to 6. They are closed on Mondays.
